Technical features

 Disposable brush for collecting of endocervical and ectocervical cells:

  • Reduction of inadequate cells.
  • Increases detection rate of CIN.
  • Greatly reduces patient discomfort and patient anxiety.
  • Avoids bleeding normally associated with rigid spatula and less careful endocervical devices.
  • Can be used for liquid-based as well as conventional cytology. The hydrophobic material of the brush facilitates the release of the cell material into the fluid.
  • According to the LBC method used, the broom head can be separated from the rod.
  • With the conventional method, the cell material adheres to the flat sides of the bristles and can be smeared accordingly in a perfect “track” on to the glass slide, giving a well-defined cell pattern.
