Sustainability at Diapath

The challenge posed by climate change is serious and growing.
Diapath is committed to reducing its carbon footprint to reach net zero by 2050.

We take a holistic approach to managing our impact on the environment, connecting the dots between climate change and all related issues. At a time when the world is looking for new models of sustainable development, Diapath believes that his role makes more sense than ever: to create innovative and sustainable products that contribute to a better World.

Participating in this program was a fundamental first step for awareness of the emissions produced by the company, for understanding those relevant aspects of sustainability that most apply to the context of Diapath and on which mitigation practices to focus our attention to reduce minimize the impact on business, society and the planet compatibly with the objectives of the European Union.

Thanks to the efforts already introduced, Diapath thus obtained the first GHG Badge "C02 Footprint Calculation" for having completed the calculation phase of its CO2 footprint and the second GHG Badge "CO2 Reduction" for having undertaken actions aimed at reducing its emissions . This second important objective was possible thanks to the will and commitment for the next 5 years, in which Diapath will invest its efforts to adopt behavioral strategies that will allow it to reduce its impact by more than 5% per year.

“We got involved in the GHG Programme through the Tool initiative because we wanted to reduce our company’s impact. We are a chemical-based company, and with the correct data, we could understand the right path to take and opt for proper measures. Therefore, we are focusing on what we can do to reduce our emissions: developing new products, optimising our workspace, etc”.
