Technical features
Bag in Box consists of 2 components:
- Outer cardboard container
- Inner LDPE bag, pre-filled with 10% NBF, with screw cap and quick connector
The Bag in box is only used in combination with the T-Filler automatic dispensing machine: a device for dispensing formalin
and hermetically sealing plastic containers.
The fixative is used to preserve the morphological and cellular components of the sample, preventing decomposition.
It is a device for research and qualitative diagnostic purposes, for professional use only, in laboratories, outpatient clinics,
medical surgical facilities.
The formalin contained in the Bag in Box, after dosing and completion of the fixative action on the sample, cannot be re-used.
The device must not be used after the indicated expiry date, or for purposes other than those described above. It must be
disposed of in accordance with waste regulations, based on the hazard classification indicated on the label and after checking
for possible contamination. The device does not come into contact with the patient. it is an aid to diagnosis and does not
provide any interpretable analytical results.
