The Anatomic Pathology Laboratory is heavily exposed to the risk of chemical contamination of the working environment, for this reason vapours containing harmful substances must be suctioned.
The malfunction or improper maintenance of ventilated workstations in the laboratory is a source of risk for the health of the operator.
Diapath, in its continuous effort to improve the offered services and the quality of its products, introduces in its ventilated workstations the patented electronic control system RFID able to detect and save filtering battery expiry date.
The filtering batteries must be periodically replaced with original spare parts approved and certified by the manufacturer.
Each filtering battery is composed of: synthetic fiber pre-filter, activated charcoal filter and, where possible, HEPA filter.
Technical features
Con il termine HEPA si indica un sistema di filtrazione ad elevata efficienza di fluidi (liquidi o gas). È composto da foglietti filtranti di microfibre di vetro borosilicato assemblati in più strati, che bloccano meccanicamente le particelle inquinanti.
I ‘filtri assoluti’ HEPA presentano un'efficienza di filtrazione compresa tra l'85% (H10) e il 99,995% (H14)
